Foundations of Yoga ~ Beginner/ Intermediate

This Gentle level class will give newcomers to yoga an opportunity to learn the foundations of traditional Hatha yoga.

The benefits of practice such as relieving stress, building strength and flexibility and creating an overall sense of well-being will be discussed.

In a relaxed, welcoming environment, we will focus on principles of alignment, as well as developing body/breath awareness through asanas. This class is available to all students who are seeking to learn the basics regardless of age, experience or ability. It is also appropriate for any students who wish to refresh or deepen their understanding of the fundamentals.
